'new' Mantis
JUNE 28th 2008
8-10 pm
Mantis @ Albert Michaels in Midtown
(name of exhibit TBD)

Hello Friends of Mantis!

We wanted to let you all know that we have been diligently working on acquiring a new permanent building to house our Mantis Gallery along with our good friend Moviate during the course of the past year. This process has been a journey filled with excitement and what could be called a few 'glitches'. We recognize that it will still be some time before this goal is accomplished and we feel that we need to have a presence again in the city to help build up to what will be our new permanent space. In the meantime we have found a great new temporary home in Midtown Harrisburg . Our wonderful friend Mr. Jeffrey Johnson has offered us space at his business Albert Michaels on Verbeke Street (between 2nd and 3rd streets near the Broad Street Market) to use as Mantis for this interim period. It is a great open space which gives us the opportunity to present quality work to the community once more.

We will have our 're-opening' Saturday June 28th 2008 from 8-10pm! Please come out and join us again for a group exhibit featuring artists from our past and a few new ones to give you a taste of the future.

We hope that you can be part of this next step!

Thanks to you all!
